These are two of the most common questions I get during casual conversation with my congregation.

The standing joke is a pastor only works two hours a week - all of it on Sunday morning.

My standard answer is, "Too bad you never though of picking that one on career day."
Honestly, I can tell you that some days, I ask my self, "I cannot believe I get paid to be a pastor." I say this not because it is so easy, but because I love it so much.

Then there are the other days where I tell myself, "You are not paying me enough to put up with all this garbage."
