The Fruits of the SpiritLet me tell you about my introduction to the Fruits of the Spirit. My mom used to throw this phrase around to me when I was a child. "You can tell a lot about a person by their fruits." Hmmm - you try to tell an 8 year old what that means. Galatians 5:22-23(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,(23) gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. What my mom was saying was that people who followed Christ possessed the traits listed in this passage Galatians. As I read that list I can only come to the following conclusion.
