Why postulate a God when evolution explains the origin of life and man?

Creation vs Evolution?

Atheists, agnostics, and other naturalists seem to be inconsistent with their own theories. By learning to identify those areas of inconsistency, we can help people to see the strong likelihood that a personal creator-God exists.

Hasn’t science demonstrated that the idea of a God is unnecessary?

No, science had not demonstrated that the idea of a God is unnecessary. In fact, science has demonstrated that the idea of a God is necessary.

This is a prime example of how atheists, agnostics, and other naturalists seem to be inconsistent with their own theories. They follow and hold to the natural laws that are set out around them yet reason that the origin of life and man has come about because of chaos and not the familiar pattern which natural laws have set. They refuse to allow themselves to reason in a consistent manner.

Christians on the other hand also recognize the natural laws. However, we have also reasoned that the natural laws which science have demonstrated to be true are not consistent with the origin of life and man.

Therefore, there must have been some outside intervention.

Couldn’t the universe have been created by chance?

Many times I have been asked this question when debating creation vs evolution.

The fact of the matter is that believing that the universe was created by chance is like saying that an explosion in a printing shop would created a set of encyclopedias.

More time perhaps? Say like a billion years. The answer still is no.

Even if you take all the elements of the periodic table and they swirled around in a pool for billions of years it would still not make life. It would never happen because how could non-living elements create life? It is inconsistent with natural law.

Listen to this. The chance of creating a single strand of DNA would be one chance in approximately 7886578670000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The DNA is much more complex that this on the molecular level, and in fact, the preceding number exceeds the number of seconds in 100 quintillion years. The questioned of chance is ruled out altogether simply looking at probability.
