Bible Verses on Love

As a person opens the scriptures they will find that there are many Bible Verses on Love.
Here is why.

God is all about Love. He created man because of Love. In return He justs wants us to Love Him back.

Yet for some reason, Love for God has become low of the priority list of mankind.

What is number one? Love for ourselves.

We love ourselves more than our creator. I think we might be a bit backwards.

Here is some of what the Bible says about Love.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 14:21

"Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

John 15:9

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love."

1John 4:9

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself."

1Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.
